I closed out 2018 with a good hike about a half hour's drive southwest of Chattanooga, TN.  Local rivers were swollen with runoff and the falls thundered down from the drenching front that preceded our arrival.

This land was originally inhabited by the Cherokee and Creek tribes of American Indians.
